FormulaCOUPE is not pretending to be a final museum exhibit. It is a first public release for people who want to try something custom, fast, and slightly irresponsible while the new multiplayer scene is still discovering its manners.
Early access means rough edges, useful surprises, frequent changes, and a rare opportunity to arrive before the official version of events has been agreed.
The multiplayer moment
The first lobbies will not be tidy. Excellent.
Nobody knows where the limit is yet. Take the car into the first wave, find the strange edges, and send back the useful evidence before everybody starts pretending they knew all along.
Early access means exactly what it says
Some corners were still being negotiated with physics at the time of release.
We could have waited until every interesting rough edge had been sanded flat. Instead, we are letting the prototype out while it still has something to say.
Driving character
Fast, composed, and not especially interested in dithering.
High speed, high grip, and the kind of stability that makes questionable decisions feel briefly official. Report anything wonderful, impossible, or expensive-looking.
Stability was requested. Restraint was not.

The mirrored 808 designation began as a practical Gray Design solution and later became the name of the skunkworks that outgrew the company around it.
